change 09!
Obama's campaign slogan, and a good one for many who need, well, change.
I had to reintroduce myself to everybody i know, my mother, my father.
listen, yall never knew me. I want to introduce you to me, I'm just getting to know me.
And you know what? Anything that's not growing is dead, so we better be changing.
People say to me she's changing, the money's changing, I say, "Listen, the money's not
changing, I'm changing because that's a natural part of life, we're all supposed to change
who wakes up and is the same way tomorrow and the day after that? nobody is."

With all the bad press that Lambdas get, I was proud to come across a positive article...
Bone Marrow Success
Yes! AND it was my chapter. It's a love/hate relationship with Lambdas, but moments like these I carry the letters proudly.
NEXT-
Just got in my new ipod nano 8gb, and the nike plus system.. charging now, and loading itunes.. anyone who has done this knows what a painful process it is.. This is my 3rd apple mp3 player, the first was the video version, that was sold and upgraded to the itouch, that was sold and (downgraded?) to the new nano chromatic, apple's 4th attempt at the nano. Why the change? Well my lil bro, the same one that's quoted in the above article, Phillip Phan, showed me this concept, Nike+.
Why is this so interesting to me? Basically it's a pedometer that hooks up to your ipod.. doesn't sound exciting, but I should explain to you my mentality. SOOO many of my friends can be described as avid gamers, and I've just never shared that passion. Example: the WOW addicts that spend, what would be their sleeping hours leveling up their character. Don't get me twisted, I understand the appeal. Make your character stronger and just run around dominating people and you're a badass... in a video game world. Yes, that was a hint of cynicism, but ignore it for a minute. You 'grind' to advance your character physically, or skill wise, and use those skills to earn gold and when you're strong enough, it's fun running around and 'owning' people. But why not level up your real life character?
Yeah easier, said than done. Lazy as fuck, and it's much easier to sit in front of the computer and click in order to gain bad ass status. Plus, your progress is much easier to see.. I've tried out different workout routines, or done time on the stationary bike, but it's not the same as signing on and seeing that your level 70 character has xxxxxx amount of health and can do xxxxxx amount of damage.
But Nike/Apple has done that. They've developed a product, that measures the distance, speed, and calories of a run. They then log your information onto their website, graph it out, show you your progress, help you set goals, enter you in challenges, and you essentially compete and compare yourself to other gamers, err.. runners around the world. So now I get what I wanted. To play a game with a scoring system, competing with people online, that actually improves me as a person as opposed to the pixels on the screen. My score will now reflect my real life accomplishment, now if only I could find inspiration to study. *Last thought, they should pay me to market their product to gamers.*

in case you don't have flash to view the nike+ site, here's apple's. -
importance of sleep
at 3 in the morning I share with you a couple articles I read in regards to the importance of sleep:
6 signs you need more sleep
How to read people based on how they sleep
as far as how i sleep, i assume many of those positions, and the descriptions seem to fit me in my many moods.. idk.. take it with a grain of salt i guess.. similar to horoscopes or zodiacs or what not?
While I'm not getting the sleep I need, I've also diagnosed myself as bi-polar. I fit many of the symptoms according to the TV show HOUSE, which has become my new addiction... because I always find myself addicted to something, I can relate to the good doctor.... love the wit, character development, problem solving and.. I feel like i'm learning things watching the show.
Also, all my life I've sucked at running, so.. trying to do it regularly and hopefully adopt it as a new addiction, or stress reliever... my lb Phi suggested a couple of links:
How to Breathe
More Running Tips
Also... I get my nike plus set up tomorrow... watch for a post about it, coming soon.

How to Stop Taking Things Personally
When I'm bored online (often), I look at websites like digg.com or stumbleupon.com and they refer me to some really cool shit. Here's one that I could take cues from:
How to Stop Taking Things Personally
Here are a couple of pointers that I should listen to...
Never react to whatever anyone says or does. It's not about you, its about them. Their comments are probably fueled by anger that may not be towards you at all.
Always be open to advice no matter what kind it is. Both good and bad advice can forge you into a better person.- Don't take every comment or opinion seriously, especially from negative individuals.
- No man or woman was ever built perfectly or is flawless. Live by this philosophy.
- Remember that who you are is defined by your character, not by words of others.
Also if anyone has a room they want to rent out lmk, I need a new residence. Or a job lead, I've been trying to find something as a Drug Rep or entry level IT support or work at a Law office, because 1) I know alot about drugs from working at the pharmacy for 2 years and 2) I'm studying for my CCNA, an entry level IT regardless of pay, would help me get my foot in the door before entering the field, 3) lastly, i'm considering law school

fuck my life
you ever have one of those ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLY OWNAGE NIGHTS/DAYS that you are just like.. F*ck my life... I do.. but I'm reminded of a friend of mine's motto in life, "It's always funny when it happens to someone else"... weak motto IMO but not any less true. Anyways, had a bad day? Compare it to these guys and see if you don't crack a smile: -FML
